Gloria Jean Eaddy Owens, 71, widow of Gerald A. Owens, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 in a Georgetown hospital.
Mrs. Gloria was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late Ives L. and Mildred Martin Eaddy. She was the retired owner and operator of Gloria's Cleaning Service. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed shopping for others, and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Surviving is her daughter, Charlotte Erin Owens; grandson, Ethan Allen Owens; brother, Jimmy Lee Eaddy; special niece, Shawn Frye and family; special nephew, Jason Eaddy and family. She was predeceased by four brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 11904 Pleasant Hill Dr., Hemingway, SC 29554.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
