Howard Lee Richardson, 72, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Howard was born in Marion, SC, a son of the late, Howard and Josephine Greene Richardson. He was a retired civil engineer and a US Marine Corps veteran.

He enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with his family especially the grands and great-grands.

He is survived by his children, Sherry (Tom) Young and Gina (Patrick) Barefoot; grandchildren, T. J. (Sarah Grace) Young, Hunter (Destenie) Young, Connor (Catherine) Young, Matthew Stone, Triston Barefoot, Jana Stone, and Jackson Barefoot and 5 great grandchildren with another one to come shortly.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, May 11, 2023 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Old Neck Cemetery, 400 Old Neck Cemetery Rd., Gresham, SC 29546.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
