Hubert D. "Buddy" Feagin, born September 22, 1948, left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on February 26, 2026.

Buddy was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He leaves behind his wife, Debbie Feagin; his son, Joshua Feagin (wife Samantha) with grandchildren Shannon Elizabeth Feagin, and Alex Feagin.

He is survived by Gina's children, Brandon Little, Skyler and Sunshine Marsh; great-grandchildren Scarlett Little, Jessi Marsh, Conner Marsh. Reagyn McKinley Little, Mable Eloise Little and Sophie Darlene Little; brothers Hank Feagin (wife Cathy) Dale Feagin and Brother-in-law, Ira (Buddy) Cameron. He had many nieces and nephews as well.

Buddy was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Gina Feagin Marsh, and granddaughter, Meagin Marsh; sisters Linda Hannah, Nell Cameron and brother Herbert Feagin.

Captain H.D. "Buddy" Feagin devoted more than three decades of his life to public safety and service to his community. He began his distinguished career in 1974 with the Johnsonville Police Department, where he first served in dispatch before becoming a sworn police officer. In 1981, he continued his commitment to law enforcement with the Florence County Sheriff's Office, gaining valuable experience that would shape his leadership in the years to come.

In 1984, he joined the Marion Police Department, where he faithfully served the City of Marion for two decades. Through dedication, integrity, and a deep respect for the badge, he rose through the ranks and retired in 2004 as Captain. His leadership and steady presence left a lasting impact on the department and the community he served.

Even after retirement, his calling to public service remained strong. He continued his work in public safety with the Marion County Sheriff's Office and later with the 12th Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office covering Florence and Marion counties, where he continued to serve with the same professionalism and dedication that defined.

He will be missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of service, strength, and faith will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 2, 2026 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St. Hemingway, SC, 29554. Visitation will begin 2 hours prior to the service.

Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home will be in the Eaddy Ford Cemetery, 481 S. Eaddy Ford rd. Johnsonville, SC 29555.
