She served as church clerk for 26 years and was very proficient in the history of the church. Her claim to fame was teaching the books of the Bible in Vacation Bible School every year!
She was the widow of Willam Preston Tanner, Jr. and Henry Hanna. She is survived by her children, Dr. William Dale Tanne (Dee) and Debra Tanner Martin (Rick). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she dearly loved: Will Tanner, Deanna Shaffer (Stephen), Marie Martin Philipp (Drew), and Mandy Martin Gillespie (Matthew).
