James "Buddy" Baron Cooper, Jr., 68, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from injuries sustained in a house fire.

Mr. Buddy was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late James Baron Cooper, Sr. and the late Sue Powell Cooper. He grew up on South Island where he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father who was the Caretaker of South Island owned by Mr. Tom Yawkey, who was the owner of the Boston Red Sox.

Surviving is his son, Kristopher Baron Cooper' grandchildren, Kristgen, Noah, Faith, and Chloe; sister, Sue Carol (Henry) Alexander.

Memorial services will beheld at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 9, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC, 29554.
