James "Bob" R. Salts, 78, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 in a Florence hospital.

Mr. Bob was born in Jonesboro, TN, a son of the late James Curtis and Lucille Henley Salts. He was a retired Electrical supervisor for Georgetown Steel and was a US Navy veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and loved his family but he especially loved holding his wife's hand.

Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Marva Lee Williams Salts; daughters, Sandra Lee (Clark L.) Buxton and Debra (Lawrence Pickerin) Lindenthal; grandchildren, Clark R. (Lindsay Curington) Buxton, Jennifer Nicole Buxton, Chase Michael Lindenthal, Drew Curtis Lindenthal, and Mikala Ann Lindenthal; great-grand, Linnea Mable Buxton.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.
