James W. "Little Buddy" Carter, 64, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 in a Florence hospital.
Little Buddy was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late James Ivory and Nina Ree Johnson Carter. He was a retired welder, a Marine Corps veteran, of the Baptist Faith, and enjoyed fishing and riding his bicycle.
Surviving are two sisters; Barbara (LaVern) Rogers and Patsy (Everette) Drayton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Florence National Cemetery, 803 E. National Cemetery Rd. Florence, SC 29506.
