James Michael "Mike" Foster, 65, husband of Phyllis Abrams Foster, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021.

Mr. Mike was born in Charleston, SC, a son of the late James Wilbur Foster, Jr., and Joan Marie Dyer Foster. Before retirement, he served his country for 24 years in the United States Army, and then worked for the Department of Defense for another 16 years. He was a friend to everyone he met, and enjoyed golfing, motorcycling, and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by Phyllis, his wife of 45 years; his daughter, Heather; his brother, Jimmy; his sister, Sandy; and his nephew, Alex.

Memorials can be made to a veterans' organization of your choice.
