Hemingway, SC

Jane Wall Edwards, 83, wife of Clifford Edwards, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in a Georgetown hospital.

Mrs. Jane was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late Gary and Harriet Bullard Wall. She was a retired Registered Nurse having received her Associates Degree in Nursing from the McLeod Nursing School and after graduation she worked for a number of hospitals and Doctor's.

She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Joyful Hearts, Choir member, Women on Mission, and the Bernice Carter Prayer Group. She was very well known as an accomplished guitar player and she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved animals and sharing what she made knitting and crocheting with others.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clifford Edwards; a large number of cousins, family members, and friends.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2020 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 11904 Pleasant Hill Dr., Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2020 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Family Life Center, 11904 Pleasant Hill Dr., Hemingway, SC 29554.
