Jean Holland Stone, 69, widow of Billy Ray Stone, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at her home.

Mrs. Jean was born in Wilson, NC, a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Ruby Head Holland. She graduated from Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, VA, as a member of the class of 1969. She worked at Hemingway Apparel until her illness and attended Prospect Independent Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Michelle Hatchell, Tray (Dana) Sauls, Ray (Terica) Stone, and Steven (April) Stone; grandchildren, Roxi Powell, Lance (Carma) Matthews, Shaina (Courtney) Matthews, Olivia (Trae) Gaster, Dawson, Hailee, and Megan Sauls, Justice (Billy, Jr.) Hickman, Dustyn (Samantha) Stone, and Steven, Jr., Sebastian, Scarlett, Braydon, Jaeda, and Willow Stone; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Darlene) Holland, Dennis (Alma) Holland, and Willard (Carol) Holland; a number of nieces and nephews; and a four-legged companion, Shana.

She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Chad R. Hatchell.

Memorial services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at 2 PM, at Word of Life Church.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 3, 2021, from 1 PM until 2 PM at Word of Life Church, 942 S Clayfield Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family would like to thank the staff at Agape Care and Cindy Locklear Collins for the care given to Mrs. Jean during her sickness.
