Jeanette Parsons Owens, 85, widow of Dainly "Bill" Owens, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Jeanette was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late Stephen Ernest and Estelle Fulton Parsons. She was a retired Library Assistant for the Georgetown County Public School System, a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and The Young At Heart of the church.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, loved her sweet potatoes, but the two thing she loved the most was spending time fellowshipping with her family and going to church

She is survived by her sons, La Dain B. (Elena) Owens and Derriel L. (Debbie) Owens; grandchildren, Byron Owens, Barrett (Brittany) Owens, Brandon Owens, Brad Cribb, and Jason Gomez; great-granddaughter, Alaina Cribb; sister, Letha Howard and Mary Sue Altman.

Funerals services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery, 11904 Pleasant Hill Dr., Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 11904 Pleasant Hill Dr., Hemingway, SC 29554.
