Jimmy Lee Prosser, Sr., 77, passed away Monday February 5, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Jimmy was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Edgar Lee and Lena Springs Prosser. He was the Owner and Operator of Prosser's BBQ and was a member of the Hemingway First Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Cynthia Haselden Prosser; sons, Lee (NiCole) Prosser and Ryan (Jennifer) Prosser; brothers, Eddie (Debby) and Wendell (Angela) Prosser; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in the Hemingway First Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Old Johnsonville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM in the Hemingway First Baptist Church, 200 E. George St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
