Johnny Gregory "Greg" Baxley, 46, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in a Florence hospital.

Greg was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late George Baxley Jr. and the late Miriam Creel Baxley. He was the owner and operator of Florence Finance Company, a Deacon and member of the New Beginnings Holiness Church. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and was an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Lisa Rabon Baxley; daughter, Cassidy Leeann Baxley; son, Johnny Gregory "Bubba" Baxley, Jr. brothers, Tim (Kim) Baxley, Chris (Peggy) Baxley, and Lance (Kim) Baxley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Friday, July 28, 2017 in the New Beginnings Holiness Church, 1352 Hemingway Highway, Hemingway, SC 29554. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 N. Georgetown Highway, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, July 27, 2017 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
