Joshua Udell Hanna, 42, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2023 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 5th, at Morris Funeral Home in Hemingway, SC. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday at Morris Funeral Home, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554

Josh was a lifetime resident of Johnsonville, South Carolina. He graduated from Johnsonville High School in 1999 and later received two associate degrees in Natural Resource Management and Radiography. He was happiest outdoors and spent countless hours enjoying the rivers and woods around his home.

Josh has three children who he loved dearly. Mason Udell Hanna, 15, inherited his outdoorsmanship and love of family. Caroline Lilly Hanna, 13, has his brilliant mind and creativity. James Myers Hanna, 10, is quick-witted like his dad. They are Josh's greatest contribution to this world.

Josh is also survived by his father, Rodney Udell Hanna, and his grandmother, Betty Stone Hanna. He has numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him and treasure the memories they made.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jenny Prosser Hanna, his Grandfather, Stanley Hanna, grandmother Patricia McCall, and grandfather Carthen Prosser.
