Juanita Spell Poston, 92, widow of James Lexton Poston, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in the Heartland Health Care in Hanahan, SC.

Mrs. Juanita was born in Darlington, SC, a daughter of the late Quincy and Senna Ard Spell. She was a member of the Moncks Corner Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and also enjoyed sewing, reading, knitting and especially taking care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, James "Nate" (Helen) Poston; brothers, Everette (Miriam) Spell and Folly Spell; sister, Geneva S. Carmichael; grandchildren, Eric Poston, Priscilla (Thomas) Rutledge, Mark (Cadie) Poston, and Stephanie (Keith) Leviner; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Poston is predeceased by 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Funeral services, will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
