Katie Prosser Marlow, 93, widow of James Andrew Marlow, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at her home.

MA Katie was born in Johnsonville, SC, a daughter of the late Charles Benjamin and Mary Agnes Rhames Prosser. She was a retired seamstress and she was a member of the Hickory Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, crossword puzzles, but she loved singing to the grand babies and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, James Wesley(and the late Wanda) Marlow, David (and the late Sue) Marlow, John Glenn (Ann) Marlow, Larry Dean (Nancy) Marlow, Trent (Tammy) Marlow, Mary Sue Cochran, Mary Ann (Darrell) Moore, Patricia Kay (Meck) Hartfield, and Lynn Hendon; special granddaughter and son, Christy Barnhill and Jacob; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sons, Franklin Marlow, twins, Kenneth and Keith Marlow, and Tracy Marlow.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2023 in the Hickory Hill Free Will Baptist. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery, 7234 Hickory Hill Rd., Gresham, SC 29546.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2023 in the Hickory Hill Free Will Baptist Church 7234 Hickory Hill Rd., Gresham, SC 29546.
