Kenneth "Little Kenny" Nathan Thompson, 41, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Aiken Regional Hospital.

He was born in Kingstree, SC, a son of Alice Collins Simmons and the late Kenneth "Ken" Nathan Thompson. He was a member of the EL Chapman Worship Center. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved playing video games with his son and spending time with his family.

He is survived by Shanda Dennis Thompson of Hemingway, SC and two children, Noah James Thompson of Hemingway, SC  and Willow Thompson of Irmo, SC. Momma and step-father, Alice and Wyatt Simmons of Hemingway, SC. Sisters and brothers, Jennifer (Daniel) Ard of Johnsonville, SC, Patrick (Angie) Thompson of Hemingway, SC, Brittany (Lewy) Cooper of Pamplico, SC,  Kendra (Dustin) Altman of Johnsonville, SC,  Kelsey Thompson of Johnsonville, SC,  Lee Allen Hiers III, Winter Thompson, and Trey Thompson all of Aiken, SC. Step momma, Samantha Goodson of Aiken, SC. He also had thirteen beloved nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by a nephew, Hunter Ard; father-in-law, Carl Dennis and grandma Patricia and granddaddy James Collins and James "Papa" and Sybil "Memaw" Thompson

Funeral services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2022 in the EL Chapman Worship Center with burial in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2022 in the EL Chapman Worship Center, 1352 Hemingway Hwy., Hemingway, SC29554. After the funeral the family will receive friends and family at the home of James Collins 4055 Huggins Rd., Lake City, SC 29560.
