Kerry Neil Powell, Sr., 57, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at his home.

Kerry was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Robert "Pete" Powell, Sr., and the late Letha Mae Parnell Powell Tedder. He worked in construction and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by children, Kerry Neil (Jessica) Powell, Jr., Linda Danielle Wise, Christopher Neil (Brittney) Powell, Amber (Jeremy) Miles, and Andrew "A.J." Powell; grandchildren, Hunter Miller, Noah Powell, Landon Wise, Bailee Powell, Gracelynn Miles, Grainger Brown; brothers, Robert "Pedro" (Peggy) Powell, Jr. and Craig (Janice) Powell; sister, Brenda (Marvin) Suggs.

He was predeceased by a sister Linda Powell.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, November 5, 2020 in the Lake Chapel Cemetery, 860 Lake Chapel Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday, November 5, 2020 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
