Kurt Robert Owens, 40, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 in a Georgetown hospital.

Kurt was born in Charleston, SC, a son of Peggy Smith Mobley and the late Samuel Robert Owens. He was a welder, enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, but most of all he loved spending quality time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Mobley; children, Nathan Owens, Jayce Owens, and Dylan Owens; sister, Sabrina Lee Owens; half sisters, Wendy Mobley and Tracey Mobley: nephews, Jeremy Owens and Remington Owens; many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Ivey Cemetery, 9994 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Andrews, SC 29510.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
