Larrie Shaun Roberts, 48, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Hemingway, South Carolina. Born on May 27, 1977, in Florence, South Carolina, Shaun lived a life marked by dedication to his work and a deep appreciation for music and the people around him.
Shaun earned an Associate's Degree and went on to build a career rooted in commitment and leadership. He served as the manager for Tire Choice in Georgetown, South Carolina, where his strong work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.
He was known not only for his professional diligence but also for his love of music—a passion that brought joy to his life and those who knew him. Whether through shared moments with family or quiet times of reflection, music was a constant companion that enriched his days.
Shaun's devotion extended beyond the workplace. He cherished time spent with family and friends, offering support and warmth to those close to him. He will be deeply missed by many.
He is lovingly remembered by his father, Larry Legette Roberts; mother, Patricia Ann Hicks Roberts; brother Scottie (Mistie) Roberts; nieces Jalen Roberts and Alexis (Durwin) Bass; nephews Gabriel Roberts and Conner Roberts; and great-nephew Brooks Moore and great-niece Brylee Kate Bass.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Sanctuary, 5542 Carvers Bay Road, Hemingway, South Carolina, 29554.
Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will take place immediately following the funeral service.
