Leila Mae Hanna Lyerly, 100, widow of Doris L. Lyerly, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at her home.

Mrs. Leila was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late John E. and Ellen Elizabeth Altman Hanna.  She was a homemaker, a member of Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and in her later years she attended Hanna's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed working on the farm but most of all she loved spending time with her friends especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Florrie "Laurie" Tisdale and Nan McCrea; grandchildren, William Tony McCrea, Ricky McCrea, Elaine Langston, Gayle Moore, Dusty McCrea, Naomi Bosley, Wes Moore, Amber Jackson, Michaela Chapman, and Dillon Moore; great-grandchildren, Rylee McCrea, Reed McCrea, Dakoyta Moore, Camley Moore, and Colson Jackson.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends after the service.
