Lenora "Linda" Jones Parsons, 68, wife of William "Dell" Dellwood Parsons, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 in the Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Mrs. Linda was born in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Rev. Gardner C. Jones and the late Emma Porter Jones. She was a homemaker, a member of New Vision Free Will Baptist Church, and she enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William "Dell" Dellwood Parsons; daughters, Catresa D. Parsons and Lisa P. (Donald) Hastings; grandchildren, Scarlett P. (Cody) Oakley, Donna Davis, William Chumney, Emma (Jarrett) Grier, Haley M. Hastings, and Ian P. Hastings; great-grandchildren, Channing D. Oakley, J. Bentley Long, Aubrey T. Long, and Eliza L. Grier; sisters, Claudia Thompson and Virginia Brown.

She was predeceased by two brothers, James Jones and Thomas Jones; sister, Kathy Pederson.

Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway is assisting the family with local arrangements.
