Leo Wayne Hanna, 82, widower of Kay Waddell Hanna, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Embrace Hospice House.

Mr. Leo Wayne was born in Johnsonville, SC, a son of the late Leo and Louise Jacobs Hanna. He was a retired famer and lawn care specialist, He was a member of the Vox United Methodist Church, Sons of the Confederate Veterans Prospect 10th Camp #1749, and the Phillip Simmons Artist Blacksmith Guild of SC. He was a former Lt. with the Johnsonville Fire District Station #2 and Past Master of Leo Masonic Lodge #310 having recently received his 60 year pin. He enjoyed blacksmithing, hunting, fishing, spending time with his granddaughter and working with his cows.

Surviving is his son, Leo Barrett "Barry" (Sonya) Hanna; granddaughter, Samantha Kaylee Hanna; sister, Ramona H. (Galen) Deese; life long friend, Judy C. Eaddy; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, with full Masonic Rites by Leo Masonic Lodge, will be in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
