Lois Vernell Woodberry, 50, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Vernell was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late William Junior and Mary Lois Avant Woodberry. She was a Lab Technician for Wellman Industries and was a member of the Word of Life Church in Johnsonville. She enjoyed reading, listening to Gospel music, shopping and fellowshipping with family and friends.

She is survived by several aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, William Wesley "Bubba" Woodberry.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in the Word of Life Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the Old Neck Cemetery, 400 Old Neck Cemetery Road, Gresham, SC 29546.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in the Word of Life Church, 942 S. Clayfield Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.
