Loretta McDaniel Brock, 78, wife of Ronald Brock, passed away at her home Wednesday April 3, 2019.

Mrs. Loretta was born in Johnsonville, SC, a daughter of the late James Lorie and Marion Stone McDaniel. She was retired from Wellman Industries as a Lab Technician, and was also retired from the Golf Pro Shop at Wellman Country Club. She was a member of the Old Johnsonville United Methodist Church and she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and playing cards with the Ladies of the church.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Brock; children, Elaine (Brian) Dodge and Chad Brock; grandchildren, Denise (Jonathan) Filyaw and Kaylee Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Savanna, and Hanna Filyaw; a number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Alex Dodge; brothers, Wayne McDaniel and James Olin McDaniel; sister, Jackie Wylie.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Old Johnsonville United Methodist Church, directed by Morris Funeral HOme of Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Old Johnsonville United Methodist Church, 846 S. Georgetown Hwy. Johnsonville, SC 29555.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Old Johnsonville United Methodist Church, 192 Newell Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
