LouEtta Hanniford Williams, 80, wife of Liston Williams, Jr., passed away, surrounded by her family, Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at her home.

Mrs. LouEtta was born in Kingstree, SC, a daughter of the late John Henry and Gladys Hanniford.  She was a homemaker, a graduate of Pleasant Hill High School, and was an avid supporter of St. Jude's Hospital for Children.

She was a member of the Williams Hill Free Will Baptist Church where she previously taught Sunday School and was the former director of the Youth Group and Youth choir. She sang solos for church services and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, collecting dolls, but most of all she was a beloved wife and mother who cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years Liston Thomas Williams, Jr.; children, Gerhonda (Floyd) Miller, III, Tarey (Donald) Dennis, Jr., and Shannon (Genelle) Williams; grandchildren, Dustin (Shauna) Miller, Haley (Nicholas) Owens, Emily Dennis, Reed Dennis, Brianna (Patrick) Marsh, and Seth Williams; great-grandchildren, Wen Miller and Lexie Miller; sister, Margaret Stephenson; brother, Joe (Juanita) Hanniford.

Services will be private and Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC is assisting the family.

The family will receive friends anytime at their home, 351 Buddy Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
