Louise Collins Goins, wife of Walt Goins, passed on Monday February 3, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Mrs. Louise was the daughter of the late Durham C. and Annie Miller Collins. They lived in Columbia SC, for 50 years where they were a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. They then retired to Darlington County to be closer to family where they established Oates Community Church in Oates SC.

She loved her dogs, and her family especially her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also had a special passion for helping others in healthcare. Following her first retirement and moving to Darlington County, she worked at Genesis continuing that passion.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Walt Goins; her children Susan (Ray) Rogers of Darlington SC, Walt (Tonya) Goins III of Lincolnton NC, Janice Robertson of Columbia SC; her grandchildren Laura Rogers, Suzanne (Jamie) King, Jason Rogers, India Rogers (Jamie), Justin Goins, Jordan (Ally) Goins, Kendall (Austin) Black, Erin (Blake) Irwin, and Holly Pearson; 13 Great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was predeceased by two great grandchildren Alistair Coleburn and Maddox Irwin; both parents (listed above); and both siblings Annie Joe (Leonard) Altman, and O'neal (Margie) Collins.

Services directed by Morris Funeral Home will be held on Thursday February 6, 2025 at 2 PM at the Center Baptist Church in Hemingway SC (where she was raised) with burial in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends anytime Wednesday at their home, 4708 Lawson Grove Rd. Timmonsville SC, 29161. On Thursday the family will receive friends at their family home at, 1904 Folly Grove Rd. Hemingway SC, 29554.

The family will receive friends on Thursday February 6, 2025 from 1-2 PM at the Center Baptist Church 2602 School House Dr. Hemingway, SC 29554, with services immediately following.
