Louise Anderson Newell,79, widow of Harry Wilson Newell, passed away December 24, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Newell was born in Mullins, SC, a daughter of the late Harry Smith and Sadie Rogers Anderson. She was predeceased by a brother, Billy Anderson. She was the co-owner and operator of Sadie's Shoppe and retired from Wellman Industries. She was a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. Louise enjoyed classic movies, doing crossword puzzles and playing solitaire daily.

Surviving are her children, Karen Newell of Raleigh, NC, Patti N. (Jerry) Harwell of Georgetown, SC, Dayne N. (Bubba) Coker of Hemingway, SC, Andy (Renee) Newell of Marietta, GA, and Paige N. (Thomas) Gaster of Hemingway, SC; grandchildren, Abbey C. (Ben) Heilmann, Betsy C. (Tommy), Royster, Blake A. (Jessica) Harwell, Brock N. Harwell, Matthew T. (Kaitlin) Gaster, Andrew H. (Olivia) Newell, Rachel M. (Jake Edmund - Fiancé) Gaster, Hal Garner, Brad (Beth) Garner and Mitchell Garner; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Elliot, Hanna, Henry, and Caroline Louise.

Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Dora R. Gafford
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the Old Johnsonville, Cemetery, 846 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC, 29555, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends after the service at her home, 100 Anderson Blvd., Hemingway, SC 29554.
