Mr. Lynn DeForrest Walden, 90, husband of Mrs. Lillian Alice Eaddy Walden, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 in the Florence Place assisted Living Community.

He was born on February 14, 1932 in Frostproof, FL., the son of the late Lenward J. and Pauline Turner Walden.

Mr. Walden was retired from Western Union Telephone, served in the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, the American Legion and the Woodmen of the World. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, on the Muddy Creek hunting Club and wood carving.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Loretta Cox, Gracie Eaddy, Helen Tanner, and Annette (Carol) Cox; Brother-in Law Ronald "Shad" Eaddy; and 9 nieces and nephews.

Graveside services conducted by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC will be held at 11:30 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2022 in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy. Johnsonville, SC, 29555.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St. Hemingway, SC 29554
