Madison Rose Quick, 18, daughter of Belinda Sessions, passed away on September 6, 2025 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Madison was born on November 13, 2006, in Florence, South Carolina, Madison brought light and creativity into the lives of those around her from an early age.
A 2025 graduate of Mullins High School, Madison achieved the distinction of becoming a licensed cosmetologist while still in high school—a testament to her determination and talent. While in high school, Madison was also a member of the Mullins High School JROTC as well as the Honor Society. She was enrolled for the Spring, 2026 semester at Florence-Darlington Technical College (FDTC), where she planned to study radiology and pursue a future in healthcare.
In her spare time, Madison enjoyed crafting and drawing. Her love for baking was equally memorable—she made delicious cupcakes and dreamed of opening a bakery with her sister. These passions were more than hobbies; they were reflections of her generous heart and joyful personality.
A long-time member of Effingham Church of God in Effingham, South Carolina, Madison was actively involved in the church's youth group. Her faith community played a meaningful role in her life and provided a foundation for her values and friendships.
In addition to her mother, Madison is survived by her bonus dad, Michael McCray; sisters: Caitlynn Dillon (Matthew), Linzie Quick, and Makiyah McCray; brothers: Ashton Gause and Jacerce McCray; grandparents Barbara and Larry Farmer; and fiancé Demorean Monroe.
Madison was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Wilson Sessions and grandmothers Betty Jean Quick and Irene Thompkins Capps.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N Main Street, Hemingway, South Carolina, 29554.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway will follow in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S Georgetown Highway, Johnsonville, South Carolina, 29555.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Madison's memory to Effingham Church of God, 149 McLaghlin Road, Effingham, South Carolina, 29541 and/or Morris Funeral Home, PO Box 158, Hemingway, South Carolina, 29554.
