Marceline Cribb Davis, 84, widow of John Van Davis, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Marceline was born in Hemingway, SC, the daughter of Harry L. and Omy Wilder Cribb. She was a member of Freedom Tabernacle and former Owner and Operator of Big D's BBQ Barn of Waccamaw/Myrtle Beach, SC. She enjoyed following her grandchildren, socializing with friends and family, and traveling.

Surviving are her children, David York, Craig (Teresa) Davis, and Russell (Kay) Davis; grandchildren, Jonathan (Erin) York, Leslie (Steven) Foxworth, John Michael Davis, Alaina Davis, and Mason Mabery; great-grandchildren, Gage Joye, Gavin Foxworth, and McKinlee York; Odell (Vera) Cribb.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Freedom Tabernacle. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Freedom Tabernacle, 264 Roy Drive, Hemingway, SC 29554.
