Margaret Virginia Powers Marsh, 65, wife of Winston Marsh, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at her home.

Mrs. Margaret was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of Bertha Tilton Powers and the late Evins Latson Powers. She was a retired RN, a member of the New Jerusalem Outreach Church in Leland, NC, and was a US Army Veteran.

She enjoyed fishing, cooking, but the biggest part of her life revolved around doing with and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Winston Marsh; sons, George Evins Marsh and Robert Pinkney Powers, Jr.; mother, Bertha T. Powers; son-in-law, Phil Walling; sister, Winona Douglas Pearson.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Jacqueline Suzette Walling; brothers, James Edward Powers, Richard Evins Powers, Robert P. Powers, and William Russell Powers; sisters, Mary L. Powers and Vera Marie Thompson.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, July 9, 2020 in the Deep Creek Community Cemetery, 19761 Choppee Rd., Hemingway, SC 29554
