Marilyn Love Shelley, 66, wife of Anthony "Tony" Shelley, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at her son's home in Georgetown, SC.

Marilyn was born in Orange Park, Fl, a daughter of the late Emerson Love and the late Dorothy Louise Helmy Messer. She was a member of Ringle Heights Baptist Church. She was a retired Manager of Shoe Show in Georgetown and she had also managed many other local businesses in the area.

She enjoyed skating, dancing, listening to beach music, and helping others but she loved her family especially her grandchildren and she had never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Anthony "Tony" Shelley; children, Shawn (Bridgette) Todd, Ricky (Jennifer) Todd, Robbie (Teresa) Shelley, Kimberly Shelley, and Angel Goda; grandchildren, Chase Todd, Brantley Todd, Ayden Todd, Kaylin Todd, Jordan Abrams, Dalton Shelley, Wyatt Goda, Brianna Shelley, and Tristan Shelley; two great-grandchildren; brother, John (Brenda) Love; sisters, Julie (John) Hayes and Betty Caulder; a number of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Janet Byrd and two brothers, Charles Love and James Love II and a loving step-father, Holt Messer.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 23, 2022 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 5542 Carvers Bay Rd., Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 22, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
