Marjorie Ann Stone, 83, widow of Lonnie Clarendon "L.C." Stone, Jr., passed away peacefully at MUSC Black River, on June 8, 2026. Born on October 21, 1942, in Hemingway, South Carolina, Daughter of the late Tommy and Elizabeth Altman Wilder, Ann lived a life filled with love and cherished moments.

A woman of faith, Ann attended Midway Baptist Church, where she found comfort and community throughout her life. She had a passion for traveling and exploring new places, which brought her great happiness over the years. Ann also enjoyed playing bingo and treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother who found immense joy in spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Lynn Stone Smith; her grandchildren, Tristan Jarrett Stone Smith, Payton Elizabeth Riley Smith, and Lauren Chandler McKenna Smith.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Daniel Clarendon Stone; .

Ann's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy of love and devotion bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

A graveside service directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway will be Monday June 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Midway Cemetery Chair Rd Hemingway SC, 29554.
