Hemingway, SC

Mark Timothy Lewis, 61, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, in a Georgetown hospital.

Mark was born in Georgetown, SC, a son of the late Thomas Milford and Mary J. Musick Lewis. He worked for Anderson Brothers Bank for many years as a computer programmer. After receiving his Associates Degree from Georgetown Technical College, he then worked for himself in the field of computer networking. He was a member of Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, shooting skeets, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, friends, and his "fur babies."

He is survived by his fiancée, Wanda Hughes; brothers, Michael (Marilyn Diane) Lewis, Nickey (Patsy) Lewis, and Terry (Sharon) Lewis; sister-in-law, Patsy G. Lewis, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Lewis.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in the Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC.

The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall, 1573 Cowhead Rd., Hemingway, SC 29554.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Mr. Lewis may be made to Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway.
