Martha Lee Mills Bell, 81, widow of Joseph E. Bell, Sr., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024 at MUSC Medical Center in Charleston.

Mrs. Martha was born in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of the late Percy Edward and Thelma Grace Lewis Mills. She was retired from Johnsonville School District 5 as a Principals Administrative Assistant.

She is survived by her children, Susan Graham, Janet Langston, and Joe (Staci) Bell; grandchildren, Ashlee (Steve) Lewis, Gage (Logan) Langston, Jared (Danielle) Bell, Stevie Bell, Katlin Graham, and Candice (Chris) Floyd; great-grandchildren, Salem and Titus Langston, Savvy Bell, Madison Turbeville, Remi and Draven Floyd and Rylee and Macie Lewis.; sister, Inez McElveen and Brother Edward Mills.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Bell, Sr., parents, Percy and Thelma Mills, sons, Joseph E. Bell, Jr. and Lewis Edward Bell; grandsons, Justin Lyle Bell and Corey Powell Stone, son-in-law, Walt Langston, sister, Nina Morris, and brothers, Lewis Mills and Charles Kolb and a longtime friend, Berline Hicks.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2024 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Hemingway with burial in the Lake Chapel Cemetery, 860 Lake Chapel Rd., Johnsonville, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2024 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
