Mary Etta Baxley Marsh 81, widow of Doc Marsh, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Mary Etta was born in Hemingway, SC, a daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Estelle Springs Baxley. She was a retired office clerk for the school system, and was of the Free Will Baptist Faith. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, shopping, gardening, and cooking.

Surviving is her daughter, Glenda Owens; brothers, Joe (Minnie) Baxley and T. J. (Sarah Ann) Baxley; sisters, Shirley B. Lamb and Billie Ann (Harry "Hap") Berg; granddaughters, Angela Poston and Cynthia (Maniel) Poston-Dorsey; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by three sons, Roy, Kenneth, and Stanley Owens; brother, James Edward Baxley
