Mary Ann Stone, widow of David C. Stone, Sr, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, in Johnsonville, South Carolina, at the age of 76. Born on March 23, 1950, in Salisbury, North Carolina, Mary Ann spent her life rooted in the community she cherished.

A devoted member of Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mary Ann found strength and solace in her faith. Her connection to her church was a cornerstone of her life and a source of inspiration to those who knew her. Mary Ann's memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her legacy bring comfort and peace to those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her children Ruthie (Terry) Marlowe, Debbie (Lee) Gray, Kim (Leon) Neighbors, Ronnie Lewis; step-children David (Karen) Stone, Jr, Debbie (Mike) Garrelts, Melinda (Chris) Graham, Daniel (Sharon) Stone; numerous grandchildren, great-grand-children, and great-great-grandchildren; sister Janice Owen.

She is predeceased by her husband David C. Stone, Sr., step-son Darwin "Spanky" Stone, her infant son and her brother Harry Lee (June) Lyerly Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church.

A Visitation will be held on March 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Prospect Pentecostal Holiness Church 213 N. Halfmoon Rd, Lake City, SC 29560.

Burial directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway will follow immediately after services, at Lake Chapel cemetery 860 Lake Chapel Rd Johnsonville, SC 29555.
