Merrinell Poston Taylor

Merrinell Poston Taylor, 78, widow of David Nerion Taylor passed away in her home  Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Merrinell was born in Hemingway, SC, the daughter of the late Merrill Willard Poston and the late Nellie Hope Furches.  She was a teacher and Administrator for 46 years who loved tennis, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Kendra (John) Taylor Krezanosky; son James N. "Jay" (Kerri) Taylor; brothers Henry (Jackie) Poston and Jimmy Poston; grandchildren Ella Krezanosky, James Krezanosky, Jake Taylor and  Graham Taylor; niece Tanya (Mark) Sari; and nephews Robbie (Connie) Poston and David Poston.

She was pre-deceased by her brother, Robert H. Poston.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 15, in the Johnsonville United Methodist Church, 240 N. Georgetown Hwy, Johnsonville, SC 29555. Burial will be in the Garden Of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM in the Johnsonville UMC.
