Michelle Loraine Segars, 63, passed away on March 30, 2025.

Since 1988, Michelle worked for the IRS.  She found great personal satisfaction in the work which allowed her to have independence.

Michelle is survived by a brother, Randall Segars; a nephew; a niece and her children; Glenda Hogan, caregiver and closest companion; as well as an extended family who considered her a part of the family for almost 40 years.

In addition to her parents, Michelle was predeceased by a sister and a brother as well as special caregiver and dear friend Barbara Yawn.  It was her wish to be buried in Johnsonville, SC next to Barbara.

A graveside service, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Old Johnsonville Methodist Church Cemetery located at 846 S Georgetown Highway, Johnsonville, SC, 29555.

Michelle will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.
