Mitchell Richard Lewis, 75, son of the late Bernie and Rena Lawson Lewis, passed away Saturday October 16, 2021 in a Florence SC, Hospital.

Mr. Mitchell attended Cornerstone Church of God. He was a carpenter and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed landscaping and going to Church, but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children; Brenda (Buddy) Moore, Buddy (Donna) Lovell, Linda (Rivers) Fisher, all of Hemingway, and Mitchell Lewis of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brother, Edward Lewis.

He was predeceased by brothers; Vernon Lewis, Cary Lewis, Hughie Lewis, Frank Lewis, and Doug Lewis; and a sister, Mattie Cooper.

Funeral services directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC will be held 4 PM Wednesday October 20, 2021 in the Cornerstone Church of God, 600 East Broad Street Hemingway, SC 29554.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in the Cornerstone Church of God.

In Lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to Morris Funeral Home in honor of Mr. Lewis.
