Murray Savino Evans, 71, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Murray was born in Lake City, SC, a son of the late Joseph Llewellyn Evans, Sr. and Florrie Creel Evans. He was former owner and operator Evans Brothers Amusement Co. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Johnsonville Masonic Lodge # 365, and was a graduate of Lake City High School.

He enjoyed fishing, being a poll worker, working on the family farm, visiting with people but most of all spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Chasity (Lee) Dotson, Kim (Wayne) Marlow, Seth (Morgan) Evans, and Sammy Evans; grandchildren, Cassidy (Alex), Dawson, Elizabeth Grace, Jessilynn (Ethan), Jerrob, Michael (Gloria), Lunden, and Emmaline; great-grandchildren, Kyson and Saylor-Gray; sister, Pam (J. E.) Creel; brother, Bryan (Tammy) Evans; a number of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers, Kay Evans, Avery "Shot" Evans, and Joseph L. Evans, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Carter Cemetery, 3422 Creek Road, Lake City, SC 29560.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554 or on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 6:00 PM until at the home of Chasity and Lee Dotson, 3249 Huggins Rd, Lake City, SC 29560.
