Nettie Ryals McDaniel, 76, widow of Jack R. McDaniel, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at her residence in Charleston, SC.

Mrs. Nettie was born in St. Stephens, SC, a daughter of the late William Spencer and Viola Douglas Ryals. She was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church, an active member of AA for 35 years, and since becoming a cancer survivor she was also active in the Relay for Life. She enjoyed word search puzzles, attending church, but most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Peggy McDaniel Salvage and Jack Lee (Kathy) McDaniel; granddaughters, McKayla Brooke Damon, Mary Elizabeth Damon, Helen Ann McDaniel, and Jacqueline Leigh McDaniel; great grandson, Baylor James Redick; half-sister, Molly York.

She was predeceased by brothers, John S. Ryals and Samuel Bradford Ryals.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, July 5, 2020 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555.
