Norton Hutson "Hutt" Cribb, III, 59 passed away May 11, 2023 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Hutt was born in Georgetown, SC, the son of Mary Dee Tyler Cribb and the late Norton Hutson "N.H." Cribb, Jr. Hutt attended Coastal Carolina after graduating from Pleasant Hill High School and was retired from the SC Department of Transportation Highway Department. Hutt also was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Throughout his life, he spent many hours working on the family farm, hanging out with his cousins, surfing at the family beach house, the 7 C's, and enjoying time spent with family and friends. An avid outdoorsman at heart, Hutt truly loved both hunting and fishing. All of his friends have received texts and photos of that elusive deer that would soon be his. His recent years were spent caring for his mother, which he did with complete devotion and love.

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Dee Tyler Cribb; aunts – Gale L. Tyler, Jackie M. Harrelson, Claire C. Whipple (David), Billie E. Cribb, an uncle – Neville B. Cribb; his best friend, Melanie Cribb; and many cousins who loved him dearly.

He is predeceased by his father and other special aunts, uncles, and a cousin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the family home beside the pond where he loved to fish, 13207 Pleasant Hill Drive, Hemingway, SC 29554. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 11904 Pleasant Hill Drive, Hemingway, SC 29554.
