Ora B. Tilton Moon Bowers, 86, widow of Adam Bowers, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at her son's home.

Mrs. Ora was born in Andrews, SC, a daughter of the late Robert and Betty Cox Tilton. She enjoyed working with her flowers, gardening, fishing, but most of all she loved cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny (Dell) Moon, Don Moon, and Billy Moon; brother, Tony Tilton; sisters, Bertha Powers, Patricia White, Kathy Cales, and Mildred Simms; grandchildren, Courtney, Erin, Vanessa, Angelo, Victoria, and Chris, a number of great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Angelo Moon, a son, Michael Moon, grandsons, Shane Moon, Johnny Lamont Moon, Jr, and Johnny Lamont Moon, II; brothers, Louis Tilton, Parkly Tilton, Patrick Tilton, Clem Tilton, and Eugene Tilton and sisters, Nora Lee Spigener, Maydee Haselden, Adale Broadway, Cornelia Broadway, and Betty Boughman.

Graveside services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 4, 2022 in the Piney Forest Cemetery, 1830 County Line Rd., Andrews, SC 29510.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday, September 3, 2022 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
