Oren Davis Baxley,82, passed away Friday January 6, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Oren was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Davis C. and Wilna Humphries Baxley. He was the retired from D&R Auto Parts, attended Hemingway First Baptist Church, and was a US Navy veteran.

He enjoyed rebuilding carburetors, working on cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Rusty (Chelsea Elliott) Frye, Jimmy (Tina) Carmichael, Ashley (Zack) Frye and Rene' (Greg) Proctor; brother and sister, Stanley (Burlyne) Baxley and Kay Baxley McBee; sister-in-law, Betty Baxley; grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Jessica, Stephen, Kristopher, Chyenne, Keeli, McKayla, Riley, Heaven, Harlan, Jayce, Payton, Liam and Rusty, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Evleen, Creed, Joy, Sullivan, Jonthan, Charlotte, Coby, Mason, Dallas, Mitch, and Emma Grace.

Services will be Private and Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC is assisting the family with arrangements.
