Pamela Irene Dennis, 67, wife of George "Buddy" Dennis, died on Friday, July 17, 2020, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Mrs. Dennis was born on September 10, 1952 in the Philippines, a daughter of the late George and Gladys Williams. She was an owner and operator of Shady Rest Restaurant in Johnsonville and was known as "Mrs. Shady." She was also a member of New Hope Church in Johnsonville who enjoyed flowers, making crafts and origami.

Surviving are her husband, George "Buddy" Dennis; daughters, Shannon (Steve) Tippett and Bridgette (Blake) Godbold; grandchildren, Kenzie Godbold, Stephen Tippett, Jackson Godbold, and Charley Tippett; sisters, Nancy Roberson and Dianne Mullaly; Brother George "Sonny" (Pamie) Williams; sisters-in-law, Joan Elliott, Elaine (Buddy) Cothran, and Judy (Billy) Roberts; several loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins; and a special caretaker, Mrs. Dot.

Funeral services, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 20, 2020, at New Hope Church, 719 N New Hope Road, Johnsonville, SC. Burial will follow after the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2020, in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N Main Street, Hemingway, SC 29554.
