Patricia Powell Marsh, 70, wife of Olin Eugene "Gene" Marsh, Jr., passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 in a Florence hospital.

Mrs. Patricia was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Jettie Leo and Basal Nettles Powell. She was a retired Branch Manager for Security Finance, a member of Kingsburg Baptist Church, Ladies of Grace Group, active in the Youth Ministry and was the former church treasurer. She loved singing Gospel Music and spending time with her family. She was awarded the Commander Level Certificate for her charitable contributions for the Disabled American Veterans

Surviving is her husband, Olin Eugene "Gene" Marsh, Jr.; sons, Olin Eugene (Liezel) Marsh, III, Jason Powell (Trena) Marsh, and Blake Patrick Marsh; sisters, Betty P. (Earl) Tanner, Janice P. (Patrick) Cable, and Louise P. (Mitchell) Poston; grandchildren, Michael Marsh, Jared Michael Marsh, and Jason P. Marsh, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Aleyah N. Marsh; sister-in-law, Martha Bazen; predeceased father and mother-in-law, Olin and Kathleen Marsh.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 22, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Hemingway with burial in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, 114 E. Trinity Road, Johnsonville, SC 29555.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554 and other times at the home of Mitchell and Louise Poston, 2305 Big Swamp Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
