Hemingway, SC

Paul Jerry Douglas, 83, widower of Merie Pope Douglas, made it home Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in the VA hospital in Charleston, SC.

Paul was born in Conway, SC, son of the late John Angus King and Fairy Ray Douglas. He was the co-founder and pastor of the Door of Faith Church and had Pastored many churches over the years. His heart was in mission work, a true adventurer in all aspects. Additionally, he had worked for many construction companies around the world.

He is survived by a daughter, Paula Fay Douglas; sister, Shirley Fay Douglas.
He was predeceased by a son Webb Douglas and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Door of Faith Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, SC, will be at the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, 800 S. Georgetown Hwy. Johnsonville, SC.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Door of Faith Church, 32 Joy Road, Hemingway, SC 29554.
