Paul Edward Nealey, 54, passed away on May 12, 2026, at his home in Georgetown, South Carolina.

The only son of the late John D. and Dorothy Powell Nealey, Paul was born on January 25, 1972, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  He spent much of his life dedicated to the family landscaping business, working alongside his father. Paul's commitment to the business reflected his strong work ethic and connection to his family's legacy.  His work also instilled in him a natural love for tending the plants and flowers around his home.

Paul is survived by his sister, Rosalee Shannon as well as three nephews and one niece.  He is also survived by Cynthia "Ann" Johnson, his life partner of over thirty years.

In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by a sister, Jessie Cochran.

Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, South Carolina, will be assisting the family with arrangements.
